Cobalt is named for the German word 'kobold" which means goblin.  This blue pigmented metal was named after evil spirits because of the horrendous and unexpected deaths of miners in Cobalt mines.  Cobalt is also the special glass we use to look at an eclipse.

Prints are 8.5 x 11 images centred on 13 x 19 format
